1:1 ABA THerapy

I will collaborate with your family to identify your child’s unique needs. Here is what you can expect in 1:1 therapy:

  • The length and scheduling of our sessions will be determined during our initial consultation and reviewed again post initial assessment.

  • I will conduct a comprehensive review of your family’s current needs through direct observation and clinical interviews with parents and loved ones. Together we’ll identify your child’s strengths, challenges, and unique skill repertoire. Next, we’ll create a specific plan for a safer, more independent, and joyful life for your child.

  • After completing my individualized, clinical assessment, I will review the results with your family. We’ll finalize a treatment plan that includes a list of specific actions for your child and family. During this time I will also include a recommended amount of treatment hours. I will work diligently using evidence-based practices to help your child meet their treatment goals.

  • Parent consultation also known as parent training is a necessary component to any successful behavioral treatment. Depending on the needs of your child, recommendations may include a combination of parent training alongside 1:1 treatment, or parent training alone. These options will be discussed during the post assessment process. Parent training will educate caretakers on ways to effectively implement behavioral strategies and address any barriers that might hinder your child’s growth.

  • I respond to routine email or phone requests within 24-72 hours. We will review expectations for emergency requests in the assessment report.

  • To practice your child’s new skills across academic and social settings is an important if not essential key to generalizing your child’s improvements. I am thrilled to serve as a bridge between your home and these environments.

Of course, the level of collaboration with your child’s academic institution is dependent on the school’s rules and willingness to collaborate with private service providers. I strongly encourage joint discussions at the outset between parents, school support services and your child’s ABA therapist (me).

  • We’ll measure your child’s progress by using easy-to-understand graphing systems. We will review these graphs during the assessment process and periodically throughout your child’s treatment. I will also create additional therapeutic materials, including visuals and checklists to increase your child’s learning potential.

  • I am led by my commitment to ethical and compassionate care.

All assessment and treatment services are billed exclusively as self-pay or out-of-network. I am actively working to be credentialed under BCBS and depending on the situation, I am open to seeking a single-case agreement with your insurance for in-network benefits. I will update this information if payment options change. I also offer a 10% military discount for all services.

consulting

I offer behavioral guidance in a variety of settings. Here is what you can expect from me when I am consulting:

  • Initial meeting dates and times will be finalized during our initial consultation.

  • Caring for children with developmental disabilities can be challenging. Feeling overwhelmed and experiencing compassion fatigue is a reflection of your dedication, hard work, and love for these children. Parents and caretakers can often benefit from additional emotional support from someone who sympathizes with their struggles and unique challenges. I provide that support by facilitating open dialogue and by offering behavioral tools that can aid you in your child’s progress.

I offer my consulting in the home, school, and community settings.

  • I respond to routine email or phone requests within 24-72 hours. We will review expectations for emergency requests in the initial consultation.

  • Every person is unique and beautifully created. This means that though the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis remain consistent, the active implementation of treatment can look radically different from one child to the next. I collaborate with parents/caretakers to create individualized behavioral plans that support the best interests of my clients and their families.

  • I offer a telehealth option for families seeking assistance in troubleshooting 1-3 areas of concern. This format allows a family to access ABA but in a flexible manner.

  • I am led by my commitment to ethical and compassionate care.

Professional Tutoring

I support individuals in the ABA field who are actively seeking their RBT/BCaBA/BCBA certification. Here is what you can expect during our time together:

  • 60-minute sessions via telehealth or in-person (at a predetermined location) within the Denver, CO

    metro area.

  • It’s challenging to create space in your busy schedule while juggling family, work, and studies. To ensure your success, it’s essential to create a consistent and flexible study plan. I will collaborate with you to establish a plan and the commitment necessary to achieve your study goals.

  • We’ll begin by reviewing your academic and employment credentials. This allows us to establish a baseline for achieving your ABA-related goals. We’ll also review your current study habits and resources as well as identify your current strengths and areas in need of improvement. We’ll then finalize your initial action plan. Periodically, we’ll also review your plan and modify it as indicated to ensure your progress regardless of your starting point.

  • Available via email and will respond within 24-72 hours.

  • My goal is to offer effective exam preparation by meeting you “where you’re at.” In addition I will help navigate your exam preparation process and provide a supportive sounding board. I encourage students to share their ideas and offer a reassuring ear to address their anxieties and concerns.

  • Professional tutoring rates are individualized depending on the amount of tutoring sessions recommended/desired. Please reach out to me to further discuss. I also offer a 10% military discount for all services.
